Maximum Power,
Proven on the Dyno
Our in-house engine dyno is custom-built to handle the most extreme high-horsepower combinations in the industry. If you built it, we can tune it.
Engine Dyno Base Tune
Our custom-built engine dyno was designed and constructed in-house to meet the demands of the world's most powerful street and race engines. With the capability to handle over 4,500 horsepower, it's the ideal environment for base calibration of carbureted and EFI combinations — before the engine ever sees the inside of a car.
A base tune on the engine dyno establishes accurate fuel curves, ignition timing, and idle quality in a controlled setting, giving you a solid foundation before any chassis or track tuning begins.
- In-house custom-built dyno cell, 4,500+ hp capable
- Base calibration for carbureted & EFI combinations
- Fuel curve, ignition timing & idle quality established
- Engine-out environment for clean, repeatable pulls
Hub Dyno Base Tune
The hub dyno lets you tune the complete vehicle as a system — engine, drivetrain, and all supporting systems in the loop simultaneously. Whether you need a half-day session for targeted adjustments or a full day for a comprehensive calibration on a complex combination, we have the time and equipment to get the job done.
Ideal for cars that are fully assembled and ready to dial in, the hub dyno eliminates drivetrain loss variables and provides accurate at-the-wheel numbers in a repeatable, controlled environment.
- Tune the complete vehicle as a full system
- Half-day or full-day sessions available
- Accurate at-the-wheel power numbers
- Ideal for assembled cars ready for final calibration

Your Build.
Your Pulls.
Whether it's your own engine or a customer car, you're welcome to be there for every pull. Steve Morris Engines dyno sessions are hands-on — you'll see the data, hear the results, and leave knowing exactly what your combination is capable of.
From a weekend bracket car needing a first-pass baseline to a 3,000-horsepower Drag Week contender getting race-day ready, every session gets the same undivided attention and expertise.
